Update

Hey all you blog followers.  Sorry I haven't been so good at keeping my blog updated.  It's been rather car-azay around my house lately.  First off we moved!  We have a huge back yard that I can run and play in, but I much prefer laying on the porch step when the sun is out.  I think I will enjoy it more in the summer time.

I also got a sister.  Ya, I am no longer an only dog!  My sister came in October and it took me about 2 weeks to adjust to life with her. It's getting better, but sometimes I wish she would just leave and go back to where my Mom brought her home from.  OH!  And not only did I get a sister, I also go an Aunt!  Yeah, Grandma adopted Chloe's sister at the same time so now there are 2 females wreaking havoc in my life! Everything was going SO good... why did it need to be changed?  Well my Mom keeps saying it's because when I got so sick in the summer time, she was afraid of losing me.  She wanted a second furbaby around in case anything were to happen, the void of me not being there wouldn't be TOO big.  Well we all know no matter what, no other dog can compare to me, but I do like the company!!  Even if I wouldn't admit it, which I never ever do.  Once though, Dad caught me enjoying time snuggling next to Chloe.  BUSTED!!!!  He is the only one who truly knows that I love having a sister.

Ok, I hear some people walking by outside so it's time to go growl and bark at them!  That's one thing I love about living in a house, I see people walking and I LOVE barking at them!!

I'm a WHAT????!!!!

It's official.. I am a Dad. Yep, that's right! A father! I have a 1 year old puppy. My parents niece, Kallie, has a Chihuahua named Princess. Her and I got rather acquainted last year, and a few weeks later she had a litter of puppies. We think I made the runt of the litter, because he is the only one that looks like me. All the other dogs have under bites and wiry hair. My dog-son has super soft hair like me, and the exact same face that I have. We met again for the second time in almost a year. He is a very timid dog. My Dads brother, Adam and his wife Deedra adopted my son. They haven't decided on a name yet. My Mom just calls him Dash Junior, or DJ, for short.

I got a new coat

Yesterday my Mom took me to the pet store by our house and bought me a new coat. It has been so cold out lately and when I go for walks I shiver so much! I am not too thrilled about this purchase, but I know it's what I need. We tried on a few coats, but they were all too big. Then the lady helped us find a nice blue one. I sort of freeze up when it's on, but I am getting used to it. Mom even put a button on it that says "I believe". It's from Santa Claus. When I got home, Dad wasn't that happy about it, but then he said "Actually he did need a coat. He gets so cold on our walks." Mom was happy that Dad had no problem taking me out in it.

Hello, my name is Dash

Hey! I'm Dash. I am a Yorkshire Terrier cross with Lhasa Apso.
I am 2 years old. My birthday is October 24th 2007. My Dad bought me on December 23rd 2007 and I was a Christmas present for my Mom 2 days later. Since then I have been loved so much by them and my grandparents. I mostly spend time with Grandma and Grandpa Cook, but I also like seeing Grandma Watson - she is the one who cared for me at her house for the 2 days before Christmas so my Mommy didn't find out about me yet.
